This position will suit someone with a strong “go-getter” attitude, extremely detail oriented and not afraid to get things done. You are a driven, energetic, and professional individual with a strong work ethic. The ability to plan proactively and respond to changing needs will bring you success in this position.

What You'll Do:

  • Procurement
    • Prepare and approve Purchase Orders, as required to meet production requirements
    • Liaise closely with production teams to ensure requirements meet lead times and quality standards
    • Review and approve invoices
    • Provide input on future category price trends and implications
    • Identify and report on potential supply risks and opportunities
    • Evaluate challenges in meeting demand
    • Generate periodic reports and create presentations of analytical data pertaining to the category
    • Assure and maintain data integrity on all inputs
  • Inventory
    • Maintain & adjust inventory levels to ensure sufficient on-hand inventory to fulfill requirements
    • Participate in monthly inventory counting & posting process
    • Perform inventory cost review analysis

What You Bring to DIRTT:

  • 3+ years of direct experience
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Business
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in purchasing Wood, Electrical or Aluminum would be considered an asset
  • Exceptional with people, highly detailed in organizational and time management skills
  • Capacity to think logically and analytically to solve problems
  • Possess excellent MS Office, and database skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with daily/monthly deadlines and time constraints on an ongoing basis
  • Be a straight-talker; the kind of person who says what they think, not what other people want to hear
