Factory secured prior to evacuation order
DIRTT’s facility in Savannah, Georgia has temporarily shut down in advance of Hurricane Dorian. The plant was closed and secured ahead of a mandatory evacuation order affecting Goergia’s coastal areas, allowing DIRTT employees to prepare and evacuate the area. The safety of our people is our highest priority.
Our Savannah operation will reopen when it is safe for people to return. We’ll provide an update at that time. Efforts are underway to transition production to our Calgary, Alberta and Phoenix, Arizona locations in the meantime, to help minimize any potential impact on orders for our clients.
We’re keeping those in the path of Hurricane Dorian in our thoughts as they prepare.
