Minimal disruption meant moving in early
Hudson River HealthCare was providing service to vulnerable and under-served communities in upstate New York. Working out of two clinics wasn’t ideal so they looked to consolidate their practice into a single location. The old IBM punch-card sorting plant they took over needed a serious update to make it patient-ready.
Using DIRTT’s design-integration software, ICE®, allowed them to visualize the space and shave valuable time off their design schedule. Once contractors started building, DIRTT’s prefabricated walls were installed so quietly and cleanly, the team was able to see patients on the main floor while the second floor was still under construction. And because DIRTT is more than modular walls, there was considerable time savings on the build out. Taking weeks off the schedule allowed Hudson River Healthcare to maintain their budget with a space that would serve them for years to come.
Where we found ICE really helped us on this project was less as a visualization tool and more of a construction tool. It reduced… the time that was very critical on the submittal process by months."
