100 years. When it came time to expand their performance center, it had to live up to that reputation. They wanted a full-solution physical, occupational, hand, speech and pediatric therapy facility. To have it all under the same roof, a new building was their only option. Taking over an old sporting goods store gave them the space to put all the facilities on the first floor. It’s perfect for accessibility and patient flow.

The new space is also designed using the principles of distraction imagery. This means patients (especially kids) feel comfortable while working with their therapists. The pediatric space has a colorful design that includes a two-story play structure and zip lines. They even have climbing walls integrated right into the DIRTT walls. That’s why it’s affectionately known as “the fun factory.”
