When pb2 architecture + engineering outgrew its existing office, the team faced a tight timeline with its lease coming to an end. But creating a new workplace wasn't simply about moving into a larger space. They wanted an innovative environment that could showcase their work, attract and retain their growing team, and reflect the quality of their design practice. 

Working with Evo and Clark Contractors, pb2 turned to DIRTT's prefabricated construction system to keep the project moving while preserving time for design refinement. Precision-manufactured components could be produced while the building was being prepared on-site, helping reduce lead times and allowing pb2 to continue developing details such as color selections and custom work surfaces for private offices—even as the project moved toward permitting and installation.

The result was a 25,944-square-foot workplace installed with DIRTT in just five weeks. By extending the design timeline without extending the construction schedule, pb2 created a space that balances innovation and functionality while giving employees, clients, and potential hires a workplace that reflects the firm's design expertise.
