They were running daily operations out of a new space when they realized they needed 12 enclosed offices. They wanted a sleek look, a high-end fit and finish, and they wanted to update without causing a disruption.

Silicon Labs visited their local DIRTT partner where they saw modular, free-standing rooms. When they learned they could be built for the same price as conventional construction, custom prefab became an obvious choice. Staying on budget was key, making DIRTT even more appealing. Using ICE^®, our design integration software, allowed them to explore their office in virtual reality before it was ever built. Looking at their space that way allowed them to tweak the details. Keeping the essentials, cutting what wasn’t needed, and instantly get an updated cost report to guide the decision. That clarity simplified the process.

But the clincher? Silicon Labs was able to keep working in the space during construction. Modular components arrived on-site built, ready for quick, quiet installation. Minimal disruption meant Silicon Labs could get what they wanted, without having to move their team to a temporary space.
