When Bell Bank set out to create its new headquarters in Fargo, North Dakota, the goal was more than an extensive remodel. The existing 12-story building was stripped back to its steel and concrete structural elements and reimagined as a workplace that would reflect the bank's history, core values, and vision for the future. The completed headquarters spans approximately 200,000 square feet and will accommodate about 300 employees.

Bell Bank had already been using DIRTT across its new builds for nearly eight years, making the system a familiar part of its approach to workplace construction. Each floor spans approximately 10,000 square feet, and DIRTT was able to complete each floor in about a week, with carefully coordinated shipping and installation schedules keeping the project moving with precision .

The result is a workplace designed to evolve with Bell Bank. DIRTT's adaptable walls can be reconfigured as departments change, allowing offices to become conference rooms without the demolition and build required by traditional construction. Bell Bank has also reused DIRTT components from previous projects on subsequent builds, extending the value of the system beyond a single space. For Bell Bank, that flexibility means spaces can be changed in days rather than weeks—and components can move with the needs of the organization.
