As Visa set out to build their new Global Market Support Center, they wanted a space that spoke to the future of commerce and work. Creating 13 new floors on the waterfront in San Francisco gave their new office a home, but in the wake of COVID, Visa knew they needed a building that could adapt to their needs in the future. They used DIRTT to help achieve that goal.

Creating a series of flexible neighborhoods was key to the design. With DIRTT’s modular prefab construction system, pre-wired, tech-enabled meeting rooms could be installed quickly with the potential for easy re-configuration as space requirements evolve. Removable wall panels, adjustable wall assemblies, and quick-connect electrical all make maintenance and future changes easy. It means less disruption and downtime for the global fintech company.

But that’s down the road. The space can support over 1,100 occupants today, with form and function working hand in hand. The aesthetic reflects Visa’s brand, achieved with custom finishes, sleek low-profile glass walls, and high-end fit and finish.

Functionality supports Visa’s people. DIRTT offers elegant spaces equipped with embedded magnetic markerboard to facilitate and elevate collaboration. The use of back-to-back walls and ceiling lids supports crucial acoustic needs. These neighborhoods delivered on the performance Visa team members relied on in past offices with the ability to adapt for the future.
