Vibrant design is contagious
When it was time to update the Center for Vaccine Research, the director wanted the space to make an impact. Something vibrant to attract students. And an elegant way to deal with the fact the ceiling wasn’t a consistent height. After a trip to DIRTT headquarters, they found the answers they were looking for.
Seeing how graphics could elevate a space gave them the confidence to create something special. Using custom colors, key branding and stunning images (including photos of sneeze microbes taken using a microscope), they created a one-of-a-kind look. Even better? They knew it was going to work. Using ICE ®, DIRTT’s design integration software, they toured their office in virtual reality before construction started. Seeing the design could handle the irregular ceiling was a real shot in the arm for this project. When the team moved in, they loved the space so much they put the custom color samples on display as works of art. What can we say? DIRTT is contagious (in a good way).
